Since meeting at the University of Cincinnati through mutual friends and a shared church group in 2008, we've hardly spent a day not laughing, smiling, and exploring together. From running into each other in the halls of DAAP between classes to skypeing across time zones, we've been quite a team. We are beyond excited to start the next chapter of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you!
We are so excited for you to join us and celebrate our wedding! The ceremony will be at the Chapelat Crossroads (the smaller part of the big church). While in college we attended Crossroads and took part in their Thanksgiving Day food drive, Go Cincinnati city wide service initiative, and International Justice Mission…Can't forget to mention that the lead pastor here hales from Pittsburgh! Following the ceremony join us for a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing at the Cincinnati Museum Center.Enjoy the Grand Rotunda and its beautiful murals as you enter and proceed to the Losantiville Room for dinner and dancing. The Cincinnati Museum Center is commonly referred to as 'Union Terminal' and its Art Deco architecture has made it an icon of the Queen City. Matt's first internship was as part of the design team there and he would often enjoy his lunch break in the Onimax theater…not a bad gig! Click Here for a map of directions for the day!
Our Wedding will be held at the Chapel at Crossroads , the church we attended during college.
A bus will be provided as transit from the hotel to ceremony, reception, and back. Please email us with any questions.
These are some of our favorite places in Cincinnati, selected with care.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.
First and foremost—we want your presence not your presents so please don't feel obligated to get us something…but if so obliged, we are registered at the following.
Note: If purchasing off our registry, we'd prefer for gifts to be shipped to the address provided through the registries. This will hopefully simplify your and our travel to our wedding.
Email us if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or jokes.
Song suggestions, inquires about the area, words of wisdom, and general trash talking about baseball will also be accepted.
We're excited to see you in October!
